I’ll be honest, I expected a bit more from the game. With the great graphics and the shifting perspectives, I thought it could be pretty interesting, but I was sadly mistaken. At the beginning, the levels can feel decently fun and interesting, but after the first boss (a stronger opponent meant to challenge you) it felt like a chore to play. I was trying so hard to enjoy it, but I couldn’t. Levels felt claustrophobic and I would continuously confuse obstacles as the background. With all this the game did have a few shining moments: I enjoyed some fights with the bosses and some of the interactives in the background like throwing eggs at ladders to make them accessible.

All in all, it’s an OK game to play if you have nothing better to do but I would recommend something different, especially for the price ($59.99), like “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.” If you’re thinking about getting this game, do yourself a favor and wait until the price lowers or you can find it pre-owned at Gamestop.
